Description

This product is a pseudovirus (PsV) of HPV type 33 (HPV33) that is produced from 293TT cells by co-transfection of plasmids expressing L1 and L2 proteins from HPV33 as well as a GFP marker. HPV33 PsV can infect into cells and express GFP but can not replicate in the transduced cells because it does not contain HPV33 viral genome DNA. HPV33 PsV is a useful tool that can be used for in vitro HPV neutralization assay.

Applications

1) Pseudovirus-based in vitro neutralization assay for the detection of neutralizing antibodies (NAb) against human papillomavirus type 33 (HPV33),
2) Screening inhibitors that block HPV33 entry.
