A spherical diol flash column is bonding 2-hydroxypropyl functional groups, used for the separation of peptide, protein, and polar molecules, which can also be applied to the separation of the organic acid and its oligomer.

Due to their low cost, simplicity, and speed, the diol flash column is one of the chromatography separation and purification tools that cannot be replaced by the current preparative HPLC.

The amount of packing for conventional flash column size ranges from as small as 4g to 330g, and there are several types of large and small. How to choose a Flash column with a suitable specification depends mainly on the amount of sample loaded on your sample.

Advantages

  • Standard Luer-Lock end fittings
  • Average specification surface area
  • The special dry packing technology produces uniform and reproducibility
  • Tight particle-size distribution to avoid leaching and or channeling
  • Clean column and clean packing and excellent column pressure
  • The innovative flash column design is convenient for manual assembly and stacking

Features of Diol Flash Column

  • Spherical Diol bonded on silica as flash columns
  • Average Pore Size: 60Å
  • Average Particle Size: 20-40μm
  • Size range from 4g – 330g
  • Higher retention time with normal phase silica gel
  • The frits for the column from 4g to 40g with the pore size of 16~20um
  • Size available in 4g, 12, 25g, 40g, 80g, 120g, 220g, 330g, etc. can meet most customers’ need
  • Disbursing unit available for columns larger than 40g to ensure better flow rate and leakage-free
  • Ultra-pure and high-efficiency bonded silica with Diol stationary phase

Applications

Used to extract polar/semi-polar analytes from aqueous samples.

Flash technology has been developed since 1978 and is used to purify organic compounds. Compared with traditional column chromatography, it is a fast and low-cost technology. Flash is considered to be a medium and low-pressure separation chromatography, and the resolution is correspondingly lower than HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography, or high-pressure liquid chromatography). Now, Flash separation and purification technology are widely used in drug research and development, sample purification, and natural product purification. Kind of application areas.
